About the Brand
Taking Care of Business (TCB) is a non-profit organisation in South Africa with the “aim to eradicate poverty in South African Families by equipping aspiring entrepreneurs with the skills and resources needed to unlock their full potential and access the economy.”
Although the organisation operates across various sectors supporting different groups, this theoretical project focused on enhancing the marketing materials and social presence of the “Resell” programme. The goal of this programme is “to equip unemployed mothers to become successful fashion traders within the circular economy.”
The Project
I started by designing posters for libraries featuring QR codes that link directly to the Resell programme’s Instagram page and website. This allows people to quickly access detailed information about the programme and how to get involved. The aim was to reach those already using free library resources, as they’re likely to be ideal candidates for the training.
A micro e-learning course can be found on the website. It is a pivotal part of the campaign, providing accessible, practical education on entrepreneurship. It focuses on building foundational skills, encouraging a positive mindset, and offering ongoing support. This course is designed to inspire confidence and equip young women with the tools they need to start and grow their own businesses.
