I was tasked with creating a layout and magazine design for an audience of young creatives. The featured guest on the magazine had to be a famous South African artist. The question was “how can I entice young creatives to pick up a magazine again?”
Concept
Boldly Uprooted
This concept focuses on confidently inviting discomfort into your creativity in order to be inspired. It suggests that being uprooted from the normality of your life can actually create more opportunity for creative expression.
